Jim, This place I'm taking photos at is where everyone will eat for lunch.
Also I will be passing out my plans to all the C-3 vette personal I see at the dealership. If I don't see the owners of the C-3 vettes, I'll just place a sheet under the wipers.
Talk to you soon.
Had a great time up there today. Even with the snow on the ground and the wind blowing it was AWESOME
Hey 2 cruzn spill the dirt on your magazine shoot..... When should I buy your issue of Corvette Enthusiast??

Sure was, and we had a great time with a bunch of great people...awsome to see that many vettes on the run...
The shoot (caught me off guard) sorry i had to break away from the pack... it was fun... The shoot went good once he could get a chance to shoot... a lot of activity at the overlook. Took insides and engine and even the C2VR sticker in my window... we got finished about 5:30... Elaine was a trooper as she had to get out. He did offer to let her sit in his new "warm" Z06... not sure when it will be in, and he made no promises, but he used a roll of film or two so i kind of figure... might be in next month...

What an AWESOME day! With about 140 vettes, they "were everywhere". We took over the biggest overlook for a group photo - and it was FULL of vettes!! Plus, it's for the Marines "Toys For Tots" campaign - one of the best "charities" around. It was a bit cold and brisk, with even a little snow on the ground. But then we hit up to 3640 feet in altitude - guess it "goes with the territory". If you missed it, come next year. Great cars!! Great views!! And, of course, GREAT people!!
For us, the end of the day was THE PITS!! We hit a deer carcass on the way home!! There's "blood 'n guts" all through the engine bay. We barely limped home the last few miles. Jeanne, IRON82's friend, was following us and hit it, too. Hers was a "glancing blow" - mostly hitting just the remenants from after we hit it. I think her car is OK - but ours doesn't want to run very well. Will get it in the shop this week and find out "how bad".
As Ollie supposedly said "S*** Happens". Just didn't want it to happen to our vette!!
Terry, got your email and pm. I'll see how Jeanne is doing from the wild ride see had on the way home. Thank god everyone was ok from the hit.
I had a wonderful time even though the snow and wind were there. If I'm not mistaken we had 150 cars and over $1,000usd for the charities. Toys for totes got a bunch of toys aswell.... Very good and thanks to everyone this was another successful cruise.
I've taken over 200 photos so please wait for my post when I have them up. I've taken alot of our C3VR group vettes that showed up. I had toooo....

I too had a great tme...BUT I cut out just before the lunch stop as I had to help my son get his Chevelle ready for the drag strip today...
Only problem was I never got a chance to talk to anyone... well I did talk a little with Tricer, never realized until today that I parked right next to 2 Cruisin at one of the overlooks (parked too close actually had a heck of a time getting out of my car ... Mrs 2 Cruisin did a much better job
getting out of that REAL NICE 73 BB ... I only said a few words to Mike...BUT had him take a picture of my car & the Throphy (and me)
At one point Rogue Wave was behind me (hard to miss that red stripe
and I did catch a glimce of JimG a few cars up ahead of me... JUST never got the chance to say hello to any of you guys...
Be nice to do another Hershey type weekend next year...
Bob G.
BTW my water Temp guage was showing ICE COLD yesterday..just a hair off the bottom mark... ...always something... lol

Bob, I got two photos of you with your wonderful trophy and vette.
My water temp gauge also never got really at operationg temp for mine is 190degress. My operating temp was at 140degress all day at the cruise.
I also had problems tring to talk to othr people from here(C3VR). I was parking the vettes then had to take the photos in a hurry 15minutes until we leave the dealership and start the cruise. After that was a hit or miss on talking to the others. D'oh.....
Checked the vete this AM in the sunshine. Deer carcass damage was less than I thought ... at least so far. Broke the radiator top cover and knocked the air intake off. Got that all fixed and, so far, it seems to be running just like normal. Also broke off the center spoiler under the front clip. Now, it needs a good scrubbing to get the blod 'n guts off everything under the hood. Taking it to the shop tomorrow and see what else may be damaged or broke. Will let you all know what I find out.
Come on deer season! Let the hunters knock off a few (a bunch, maybe?) of them critters!!! Good to see Rogue Wave, IRON82, 2 CRUZN, Bob Griffiths, etal.
