Well not sure, Paul saved the day and gave me a module and contact with radio surpressor on it. I got home pulled the cap an rotor off tined and soldered and shrink wrapped the new piece to plug end. Layed on a good amount of gel and installed. Took cap off and removed old coil, this time I took the metal edge contact pieces off the old coil and put onto the new coil (that was the secondary ground Joel explained) it was a tight fit back into the cap but tapped in very carefully and screwed it down. reinstalled and fired right up, this time I let it run for 15 minutes, cooled it down then reinstalled that darn bat wing

Then put a coat of Z3 (zaino) on the front top half of the car.
So not sure exactly what happened, but I think we are good to go. I was crushed when they had the front row at the car show blocked off just for Pauls C3"s and mine was not there. Paul was super and let me ride shot gun in his beast. I went to the chiopractor Fri am to get my neck snapped, doc got the left side to crack.....and Paul did the right side pullin away from a stop sign

I will never miss one of his BBQ's........OUTSTANDING!
Paul and his harem did a most excellent job, I'm sure they all slept in today.

I missed you buddy!

Wow I forgot about that secondary ground! Details Details ! I have had a few crappy modules in the past..and secondary ground wires! Coil don't fire without it! I guess if the coil don't collapse it don't fire! Ugh..no one thinks straight when your P'oed! I know I had a long drive home Saturday morning and was P'oed all weekend! I guess some times some things are not to be.
Sorry I missed you all!

Paul and Family,
Karen and I had a great time. Thanks for the invite. We met some really nice people and everyone made us feel welcome. Sorry we had to cut it short.
Talk to your wife about meeting at Denino's.
Thanks again
Bob
Paul, Thanks for a GREAT time. Jackie and I really enjoyed the food, the car show, and most importantly the company. We had a long, uneventful ride home, got in about 12:45 am. This will be one event I will NOT miss in the future! Looking forward to seeing everyone at Corvettes for Chip. Paul, maybe you can bring some steaks down!
