For those in the area just dying to drive their Vettes before the season is over, the Vette Club I belong to (Frederick County Corvette Club) is hosting an all Corvette show this Saturday the 9th at the Westridge Shopping Center on Route 40 here in Frederick, MD. The weather forecast so far is for great weather...free of charge to register, there are dash plaques and trophies being given, including for the Vette driven the farthest and most tricked out, as well as goodie bags and door prizes and the ever popular 50-50 raffle.

It's always a good turn-out and lots of great people and interest. Westridge Square Center (which sponsors the show each year) has a local oldies radio station scheduled to be there with their mobile broadcasting van. The shopping center also has an Outback Steak House for those wanting a great meal, a Baskin-Robbins (where I have to take my wife) and an excellent cigar store for those of us who enjoy fine smokes.

Again, Saturday the 9th beginning at 10AM.
