Just found this deal going on in Boise last weekend in July. We will be heading over Wed the 27.
Anyone else think they might make it? Looks like a blast.
Autocross, drag races, car show and Sat cruise.

Vette(s): 1976 Stingray matching numbers. Stock 350 rebuilt, comp cam, roller rockers, push rods, 2.02 valves, +.30 flat tops, frontend & suspension rebuilt Dec 08. Interior from firewall 90% July. New exhaust, Collector plates, Paint will have to wait...& wait.
Hey there John, thanks for the call today. Sounds interesting indeed, I will put in for some time off and look forward to spending that time with you and Carrol. I lost the engine in my car a week ago do to an unfortunate incident (will talk later) The people that rebuilt the original engine have a numbers engine block and are in the process right now of putting it together for me, so should be back on the road soon, minus a few dollars, ok more than a few but it will be back on the road. I am working awa from home in Banff but will call you for a chat. Have you got anyone else to tour with yet or still looking, how ever it works out I am looking forward to it. Talk to you later.

let me look at the calendar, do not know if Dee-Dee will make it and not sure if I have anyone on vacation or not. I might go into the store friday, just got back from a 3 day conference, pretty burned out right now. Do not know what type of time I am going to need to take off for Lacey's business this summer, should know soon. Thanks for the heads up. John, sorry got me one of those smart phones now, and the reason they call it that is because it is smarter than me, some how I lost and just found your call from late May, I owe you man.

Would like to attend but allready made plans for a show in Kennewick the following weekend, unless I win the lotto or a rich relative dies I need to work!

Ok John, I am cleared to go. Sounds like my new engine will be ready this coming weekend as well. Should be enough time to break in a bit and just take it easy going down:):) leaving may be another story So what is your plan as I have to book rooms etc. One thought would be to meet around Pendleton about 7 hrs for me and 5/6 hrs for you I think, Wedensday night works for you I believe. Not sure what is there but maybe stay over night or near there and drive to Boise in the morning, please give me your thoughts. So how about Larry, Steve, Glen, Bob, Mark etc any of them interested in joining in plus others, would be a great drive.

Eric, Pendleton sounds great on Wed. The show and shine reg starts at 10 am Thursday so maybe a early day. So maybe meet ion Pendleton and drive to Baker city for the night? Hour and a half to Baker city and 2 hours to Pendleton Thursday morn??

Count me in for next year. I remember reading about this last year and thinking, hmmm maybe, but then I was just doing front suspension. Now I'm doing front suspension and engine -- I think I'm a few months out yet. Sounds like fun. Hope everyone has a safe and trouble free trip.
