Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
looking into the issaquah thing, so far looks workable for me, have not strung it on the wife yet, but since she does not drive the vette I am guess she will go where it goes....  on the other hand not sure if she'll want to do two shows in a week end, maybe some help from your wife cilrah.  it would be great if the banners got here in time......

If plans werent already made,& you had to drive this distance, which show would be more worth it?  4 hrs 2 mins round trip to the Triple X show,or 4 hrs 34 min. round trip to the Skykomish Show

I don't look at it as miles/time driven, I look at it as: Skykomish - Nice drive in the mountains, small town atmosphere!  Issaquah - Bad traffic, over crowded area with lots and lots of people!  Trying to get into Issaquah is a real pain at times when these type of events are going on.  Try and get in there during Salmon days!  Better to have a helecopter.

Never been to Issaquah, but you may have talked me outa that one for this year.Must be getting impatient in my last few years, but I avoid Seattle & other traffic nightmares alot these days.I went to the King County Fairgrounds last year for the Highland Games & that was pretty bad as far as the long drive plus the major traffic when I got close

The XXX in Issaquah is practically right off of I-90. I did the All Camaro and Chevy Show there a couple of weekends ago and traffic was not bad at all.  Ya there were alotta people at this show but it didn't cause traffic jams by any means.  Alotta people just ment for a great show.  If I had a choice between the two, I'd do a All Corvette Show any day or over a Show and Shine.  Of course don't go just to be disappointed if you don't win anything.  At a show like this there will probably be showroom, mint, Bloomington Gold type Vettes there

Oh by the way Larry, my wife is working in Yakima until the 29th so won't be at either show

Heres one for next month-->> Sedro Woolley Founders Day Show,Sunday,Sept.11th--

Sedro-Woolley celebrates founders Sept. 10 and 11
Ninety years after five armed gunmen robbed a bank on the corner of Ferry and Metcalf streets, the story lives as the focal point of Sedro-Woolley's Founders' Days festival in the city's downtown.

The festival recalls the town's historic bank heist and acknowledges the region's pioneer founders. The main attraction is the re-enactment of the Great Sedro-Woolley Bank Robbery of 1914, with area residents acting as bandits, lawmen and bar patrons.

Events begin Sept. 10 at the Sedro-Woolley Museum, 725 Murdock St. From 10 a.m. to noon, the museum will show a video about the bank heist, with images gleaned from vintage glass-slide photographs taken shortly after the actual shoot-out. At 1 p.m., approximately 30 "loco" players in period costume will perform an hour-long re-enactment of the robbery in the city's downtown.

On the 11th,a car show starts at 10am at Sedro-Woolley's Riverfront Park, just south of town on the Skagit River. A community picnic is at noon at the park.
