Summer Customs at the Point
"Summer Customs at the Point" is a car show for the
do-it-yourselfer. The cars will be judged base on the
quality of work done by the owner.

There are tencompeting categories in which the owner must have done at least 50% of the work. The categories are: Best
Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Undercarriage,
Best Under 21, People's Choice, Custom Body Work,
Promoter's Choice, Most Potential (unfinished), and
Over The Top. We will be giving away over $2,000 is
prizes and giveaways.

The two nights also divide thestyle of cars on display.

Friday, July 8th is "New School Night" with cars dating from 1975 to the present. Saturday, July 9th is "Old School Night" with cars predating 1974.

Each night will have entertainment (DJ and breakdancing / Liveband), sponsor booths, and food. This event is free to the public and is only $5 when you pre-register. To register, simply make your way down to TNT Family Go-karts at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma Wa with a photo of your car and $5. If you wait till the day of the event it will cost $15, and you will not be guaranteed a display spot.
