Ok I missed the change to the plans, so are we just going to the observatory at Johnson Ridge now?  I may have to meet up with everyone there at the Ridge.  I won't get outta work until 8:30 maybe 9:00.

It's hard to believe theres still 7 feet of snow up there, after traveling across Snoqualmie Pass two weeks ago there wasn't hardly any snow left.  I guess these are all back roads.

Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
WOW great time folks. Todd and Vicki thank you so much, Dee-Dee and I will be sharing time at your cabin with ya, nice place, even if it is nestled in GOOBERVILLELOL. To all that traveled up MT. ST. Helen it was a great trip, weather in upper, TO HOT FOR THE DEVIL, total of 18 Corvettes if you want to count the C5 and C's, 6 C3VR corvettes ClapClapClap

Pretty rare that you can drive 70 miles down the freeway with the top down at 10pm in this state and not be chilled, prefect day thanks to all.  I will post pictures but I did not take any because I still have no clue how to load them up to the siteOuchConfused.  Todd has 3 deer just hanging around there cabin, one came within 3 feet of Karen and I, think they wanted some of Karens wine but it was a red and the trees the were eating on with must with a white wine so they passed.

Bob gave us my the laugh of the day when you was trying to enter his vette and it was so hot he said , and I quote " so hot you can't touch it anywhere, sort of like a wife".LOLLOLLOL

Then there was the good ol boy who lend the 5 corvettes around the back roads due to the biker crash, I was kinda afraid we were heading into his secret little play land but I was wrong,  can only imagine the story he told the boys around the spittoon, and then the farmer with the hay baler at the bottom of this huge hill travel at the warp speed of a crippled turtle with a limp, and us with the only manual tranny, what a night mare, sure he went home and kicked the pig and told the misses " darn city folk in there fancy corvettes ran me off the road.

For all of you that might want the visit Todd and Vicki's cabin, FYI, they will not let you leave your pants (really persistent)   Anyway a great time with great people thank you all.

Larry told it like it is LOL  But left out one critical factoid, yes there were 18 Corvettes, but out of those 18 Corvettes only 7 were RED.

I did think you and Dee were kinda daring to ride all the way home topless.

And yes it is also true, if you go a parting with Larry, you can expect him to leave his pants anywhere LOL

It was a great day and great trip.  We left the tops at home.  Made it without a sunburn.  Larry, that Bullfrog spray sunscreen works great!

Here's a link to my pics:

Got some pics of the deer, too.  Little brats wouldn't come close when I had my camera.  But did when I had my wine!!!  Thought the female was gonna come down for a swig for awhile!

Thanks all, especially Todd & Vicky for the great BBQ!
