Another option could have been INDY C3!  It celebrates the history of our cars and the long history of corvettes at Indy which your car started.   Anybody who knows corvettes knows the Indy c3 is a 78. 

Good choice though cuz man are these C3 vettes SWEEEEETTTT!!

Damn never even thought of that one  That would have been nice.  One thing I've noticed, the last 4 or 5 people who checked out the Vette, first words outta their mouths was Sweet Vette

Edit note:  Computer says Indy C3 and C3VR are both available, oh well
