There is a car show in Olympia on Friday night, July 17th at Marathon Park during Lakefair.
If you register early they are going to have a police escorted cruise through Oly town to the park.
I got both the 70 and 73 in this deal and I am excited to get both cars to a show for the 1st time.
Anyone else interested? Its a Friday night and there is a fair going on. Should be good.

I did the Capital Lake Fair 2 or 3 years ago.  It's the 1st 50 or so cars registered that get into the parade to the show through Olympia.  I have not done that show since, it was like 110 degrees on the black-top that night.  Really rare for this area but that just stunk.  The weather was perfect last night for a show. cilrah2009-07-18 09:42:48

Mark, wish ya would have walked over. We did the parade deal and that was a blast. The police did a pretty good job of blocking off the roads but we did have to stop as they could of used a few more in the leap-frog thing they were doing. I had one of my friends and his wife drive the 73 while my wife and I were in the 70.  Was kind of hot but at least it was tolerable.
There were a BUNCH of cars and a bunch of C-3's. What I liked was it was only a 4 hour deal.

OK and the LT-1 took 1st in the 68-96 Corvette class so I thought that was kind of cool for the 1st time I took it to a show.

Didnt have it in me sit for 8 hours at the Monte show but drove up and walked it.

think it is pretty cool that the first show i entered the lt-1 in i also got a first place in the c3 class gotta love that, i did nothing but work all week end
