To be honest....We need more Vettes! You will gain free admission with your Vette. There will be some sort of judging, most likely a people's choice type thing we're thinking. I don't think any of us in Red Line have done this event before, but it sounds like fun. The event lasts all day, but most of us will probably start leaving about 4pm. There will be over 40 people cooking up chili of all kinds, entertainment, ice cream, etc. If you can definately be there, email me at: vettevixen@corvettemail.com and give me your name, your vette info including color and contact phone number(s). I will add you to our list and give you instructions on where to meet. We will caravan up to Ojai.

Yes, went to Simi and lost to the orange thing of Joe's, again. I hope he sells it to someout out of state so I can win some shows. lol The lake went soooo great. There were like 3000 people over the whole day I would say. We had 22 Vettes, and that's all that would really fit in the spot they had us. We had a blown and flamed 61 join me and Doug (z06) while we waited at Foster Park for the group. Then we had a C4 join us, he read it in the paper, and a torch C5 vert from Pismo! It was alot of fun. Met a girl in the Valencia area that couldn't find a club, so we all talked to her and her husband about Red Line. She's got a 79 Root Beer Brown.

Can you make it Nov. 17 to the Peterson? I have one spot left, but might have more after our member meeting on the 12th. So let me know if you can go within the next week, the forum guy needs a count. I'll give him a final after the meeting. How's your ride and your family? Did you have fun at "school"?
