Topic: Wa "No Front License Plate" initiative!
in Forum: North West Region Events
Please take a moment and look over the Initiative text, the original thread. I've also linked the signature sheets - please print them out and take them to local club events, car shows, etc. Every little bit helps and the more signatures we can get from registered voters, the better are the chances of getting on the November ballot.

Ask any cop that's come up onto a car backed up against a wall, and they would gladly explain how a front plate can change your whole world in a second.
If you have the opportunity to call a plate in when you come upon it, and something like a shootout occurrs, there is at least some remote chance of identification you have in your corner. God forbid something happens to the Officer, and it has in many occasions, and there is no plate, or description, then what do you have to go on?
You can't just say....
"Excuse me while I walk behind your car, and get your plate number."
Just my humble opinion.
