here is a reply from my guy in issaquah:
What is wrong with Jack n the Box? I take Rose there each year for her birthday and our anniversary. It's a great place!
Here is a list of four restaurants that have good food and reasonable prices. I don't think that any take reservations. At each place you should be able to seat your group of 12 to 16 together.
Gaslamp Bar & Grill: 392-4547. Driving instructions: From the motel, you get on SR 900 going south, cross I-90, at the second stop light turn left onto Maple Street, go about 100 yards, turn left into the dirt parking lot. This is a sports bar with good food and a lot of atmosphere.
Issaquah Cafe: 391-9690. Driving instructions: From the motel, get on SR 900 going south, cross I-90, as you cross I-90 get in the left hand lane, turn left at the first stop light on to Gilman Blvd.,go about 40 yards and turn left into the shopping mall, take a left in the mall lot. The cafe is in the building on the right. It has good American food.
Cascade Garden (Chinese): 391-9597. Driving instructions: It is located two doors from the Issaquah Cafe. Has very good Chinese food.
Las Margaritas: 392-7425. Driving instructions: From the motel, get on SR 900 going south, cross I-90, as you cross I-90 get in the left hand lane, turn left at the first stop light on to Gilman Blvd., Continue along Gilman until you reach Front Street, turn right onto Front Street going south, continue until the first stop light, Las Margaritas is on the right about 20 yards before the stop light.
We will try to stop at the car show. If you need any thing give me a call

Larry, I will talk to ya!
The sad news is its looks like I will NOT make this event this year. (Would have been my 1st).
Man I wish this would have worked but its sure looking slim. I still have some hope...but not much.
So dont save me a seat for dinner....
If I can somehow, someway get there I will.
You all have a great time!
Dinner sounds great for us. Noon at Burgerville is great. Any route we take is fine. 12 looks like a great scenic route. and did some say there is closer on I5 or 405 near seattle. We will have to see how it goes. Both the wife and I will have to stop after about an hour to get out and stretch (My Back Her Knee). I Don't want to let this effect others. we can start out together and when we need to stop we will stop. looking forward to the trip
So far everything is good for us,Burgerville at noon and dinner at six.I do have to work Sat. morning but still should make noon,if I am late I will post by ten AM. If we go up I-5 can we meet in Olympia?
Larry how bout we meet up at the exit in Nisqually Valley at 1 PM (I'll get the number) its right in the bottom of Nisqually Valley after you leave Lacey. Take a right at bottom of the ramp, got to the light and take a left (I-5 enterance) I'll be sitting there at 1 PM.
