All RIGHT! Great news. Did that shaving cream tip work?

Can you post any pics of the damage? I was going to suggest using a Magic Eraser but I feared (as you discovered) that it might also remove the seat dye. You could give it a real good scrubbin' and then re-dye the seat cover though.
Update- I have removed 90% of the stain using a variety of products, most effective was rubbing alcohol, I removed until the leather dye started to come off with the stain. Most people looking at it won't notice. unfortunately I will always see it.
Good news Todd
I know what you mean about you always seeing it.

Todd-
I bought some of that Gliptone leather cleaner back when it was discussed and recommended somewhere on this site. You can give it a shot if you want. I haven't tried it yet. I have the leather conditioner too but was afraid to use it after Jim told us to use nothing but saddle soap on the leather. What does everyone think of that advice?

A great product to dissolve anything is DMSO which can be bought at some pharmacies. I would do a spot test in a unseen area as DMSO may also take the color out of the leather. But, on solid surfaces for future reference DMSO will take it out. Do not get it on your skin as anything on your skin at the time will be dissolved into your bloodstream.
