Ya....I'm trying to do it from the "Add/Remove Programs" section...that's where I've done it before.
As fer as I know, everything on here is set for "Anyone who uses this 'puter"...don't remember ever seeing anything asking if I wanted to be an Admin or not...
What os are ya usin?
Winders Ex-Pee....but it acts more like Winders Poo-Poo...

I keep gettin messages now that I don't have enough "virtual memory" to run any of my programs, so I can't open say, "My Documents" while on-line, or if I'm editing photos....I keep sayin I'm gonna clear this whole mess out and start over with a full destructive restore, but I still gotta back-up/save all my stuff first...problem is, I can only save one thing at a time. I can't just go in and send it all to a disc/DVD, cause it says I ain't got enough room to put it all in a folder on the C drive before burnin it to the disc! A 200gig hard drive, with only 26 gig used, but I have no freekin idea how to determine how much memory this turd has, or why all of the sudden it has become bloated...and I STILL can't get into my e-mail...

ohhh YOU COUGHT A GOOD VIRUS. The kind that makes ya wanna pull your own da mn hair out! Do you have a previous saved point where you could go back to where it would at least alloow you to do  a backup in a resonable time? I would say that if this l;atest version just happened try to go to a point where it worked a little better and attempt to get all your info off from there. Then do the new  install. Be sure to get the blaster worm prevention from microsoft. That one is the worst to get off if you end up getting it.good luck!

It will NOT allow me to restore to an earlier date...btdt.

I did manage to get most of my impotant stuff on a DVD disc last eve. I still need to go thru it and verify all of it transferred, but I think it did.
On a HAPPIER note I finally got that d a m n e d Norton crap off of the puter!! YEAAAAAAH!!!!!! Guess what? NOW I can get into my friggin E-MAIL account!! I know I had major issues with Norton when I first bought this puter, as it wouldn't let me do much of anything...no e-mail, no updates, NADA... I finally figured out this evening where to get into the system, and get to the "Administrator" section to set a p-werd. Once I did that, it allowed me the remove it. Piece of crap... I HATE Norton/Symatec stuff.....
Anyway, I think I now have enough data saved/backed-up to start from scratch. I gotta go thru and get some p-werd info from my browsers, so I don't loose that stuff, and then I'll be good to wipe & wear....Thanks for the help...and the support.

How

to tell if you have a

                                Virus

If

your computer does this when copying a file...

You

KNOW it's been infected with some
