 Battle of Athens (Tenn.)1946 !!

I was completely unaware of this event that took place in Athens, TN in 1946. I did not know an armed revolt by WWII veterans ever took place during our lifetime. A very sobering video to say the least. Now it makes the second amendment is a little clearer. Be sure to see the actual photos at the end showing the plaques describing the event

Cool movie that was made for TV. As with most made-for-TV movies, they took some liberties with the facts, but the main theme is correct. I Googled the authenticity of it and I have a link below that explains in detail the actual events.
