Ok, its me again ...  I have decided not to buy an enclosed at all now, to get the one I want is like 13000+ and thats the bare trailer. I got the price sheet with the options we were wanting and I am not paying nearly  $19,000 for a trailer that will be used about 3 or 4 times a year. I am just going to modify the flatbed. I have and add some nifty tie downs so I can haul them on it. I should be able to get two cars on this trailer. I have to build some ramps and I am thinking a winch , a few tie downs.
Today I am starting bolting down the floor on it even better than the factory did...  somewhere between 2 and 4 hundred bolts when I get done.
Here is a link to  pics of the trailer I already have.

Its about 40 ft long overall and gives me close to 30 ft of actual useable space. I guess the second car can hang off the back deck a foot.

SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe
Looking at the picture of the back of your trailer - is that a dove-tail arrangement?

Are there ramps tucked under there somehow?  If so, how do they fold down/up?

Jim- I would guess that the black metal wedge pivots down to become the lower half of the ramp. Which means you can't have a vehicle sitting on it.

Scott- Fix up this one, paint it red and then either trade it in or sell it to buy the enclosed one.

Its a pop up dove tail, kinda neat.  Thumbs%20Up

Dave, the flatbed was a present from the wife, no way I can ever sell it.  Ouch

Suzy has a great outlook on toys , when I say something about selling one to get another; she says "we collect toys, we don't sell them"
I do love that woman!Wink
