I'm sure by now most of ya'll have heard about the shooting at Ft. Hood.
Please take a moment to honor the 13 dead, and pray for the 30 wounded, including civilian.
One of our own members was there, and in fact was in the exact area earlier. I called and spoke with this member briefly as soon as I heard about it, and was glad to hear he was not injured.
There is a TON of speculation as to why this happened, but I'll wait until they have a little more info before making any judgments. Suffice to say there was something not quite right in this guy's head at the time....

Our HR department spent yesterday afternoon verifying that all of our Ft Hood personnel were okay and they were.
Sad, sad , sad. I guess for once we'll find out why he did it since the shooter survived.
I'll reserve further comment on the situation until we find out more.

We'll certainly say a prayer for all. Unbelievable.
