Yesterday, as you have probably heard, there was a terrible tragedy at Ft Hood Texas.

I would like to ask that you keep these fine young soldiers and there family in your thoughts and prayers. I personally knew two of the soldier’s, one did not make it, and the other is doing well.

A special thanks to Joel Adams, who called to check and see if I was ok when he heard the news, he is without a doubt a very thoughtful man. Thanks Joel!

Mama had called and told me whut was going on, and she was worried(as was I), since she knew you werked there.  I didn't want to take up too much of your time, since I knew you were prolly a little preoccupied at the time.
Just glad you were ok.

Sorry Fred. That's horrible. It's hard enough for a soldier to maintain their sanity when deployed to a combat zone where they expect this kind of danger. I always felt a military base stateside was as safe a place as a person could be. The U.S. Military is always in our prayers.
