Hi Manget 1

Eurodesk here, your point of view is well taken, people need to
read and look at what's has happen in this country, as far as
the wars and spending for the last 8 years. We can only go up
                 from here.

I don't see your stirring up a hornets nest here Brother Ron. I really appreciate this thread, and am open minded enough to learn from others opinions. I don't alweays agree with my Family's opinions, but it doesn't mean I don't still love em. Hug "T"

Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, whether they agree with ME or not.
I moved this to the "Off Topic" forum as it has taken on a different tone from the original post, which was a reminder to simply get out and vote. Not to say that the discussin back & forth is wrong, or not allowed, it was just in the wrong forum for it.
Carry on!

Ron, no need to apologize, as you did nothing wrong. I have enjoyed the banter....'tis quite civilized compared to some of the discussions I have been party to over the last few months. I am reminded of the following quote, wish I could remember the source:

"While I may not agree with what you say, I will defend to the death your right to say it."

AMEN!  I voted for Obama too.  Really thought we didn't have much of a choice.  McCain wasn't bad BUT (and I'm really going to piss off the guys now) we need something other than a male WASP (white anglo-saxon protestant).  Personally, I would have preferred a female as our first non-cookie cutter president but this one works too.  I also thought McCain would be more of the same which obviously is not working.

By the way, I see this as one of my purposes in life...to cancel Mikey's vote! LOL
