This is the first perfect day to get the decorations down so don't laugh.  Nice enough not to freeze, cold enough so the ground is frozen so there's no muck, snow melted enough to pull up the extension cords.  Decorating like a nut started about 8 yrs ago.  Then I moved back to my parents place to help take care of my dad.  He liked them so much that I've gone a little wacky.  It's nice when I see someone at the pharmacy or store or beach and they tell me they have to drive past the house every time they go anywhere so they can see the decorations.  I cut back this year, to 11,000 LEDs down from about 15,000.  We even have a 26' mega tree I make out of our flag pole.  Don't worry, bigger next year.

Man, Dave, you really are a Christmas lover.  My wife puts out at least 3 Christmas trees in the house and we decorate 2 small pines in the yard every year.  That doesn't include the trim lights on the house and the 3 huge wreaths on the garage.  Then there's all the rest of the stuff scattered around inside the house.  We have 2 storage rooms downstairs just for Christmas stuff.  I like Christmas, but sure glad it only comes once a year.   Confused  Big smile

Yeah, once a year, I think it would be better all year.  This way I could put it up and leave it.
