Dang! Woke up this morning to find it's been snowing down to sea level in California. guess I won't be driving the vette today. Seriously, I was planning on  driving 50 mi. to a friends place today. Even though I'm wise enough not to go out in this, the wife insisted she has to make it to work. You have to drive uphill to get out of the driveway and if you start sliding backwards just guess what's at the bottom of the hill waiting to stop you. That's right, the vettes Cry. She lost traction twice but regained control before coming back down the hill phew. It happened to me once, before the vettes came along, about 20 yrs. back. It doesn't ice up hear usually. We're down at about 1000 ft elevation. I just got to the top of the driveway and lost traction. Braking doesn't help, but I pumped 'em anyway and slid down backwards and somehow stopped before hitting the garage. What an experienceEmbarrassed. I hate snow.

It snowed here Friday...for about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, I was already at werk, so....I had to stay....Cry

I hate to say this Joel, but according to my radar, that storm is coming at you (down south) and is already at your doorstep. Keep your firewood dry. It looks like a lengthly front. Snowball Fight Snowstorm Snowplow

Looks like it's gonna hit here in Kansas tonite and tomorrow.   They're forecasting 2-4" of the white stuff.  Angry  Sure wish you had kept it there in California... not gonna go out tomorrow, just stay in front of the fireplace and watch it snow.

Hey Jimmy... great pic.  So the last time you got snow like that was 20 years ago?
Been watching the Sacramento News on TV and all the odd places that got the white stuff..Wink
Like you... snow down to 1000 feet.

For me snow is old hack... and I also hate it.  We only got an inch or two.  But...Woke up this morning and it was a minus 7 degrees.
And, I am only at 3200 elelvation.  Go figure...Weird storm.
