...when someone really, REEEEEEEELY doesn't wanna sell their car. From an actual ad in the Corvette Trader:
1965 Corvette, blue, V8, 55,000 miles.
$195,000

That's the whole ad(other than the contact info)...with a small pic of the car from the front 3/4. Nothing special, looks like it may have a BB hood, but can't really tell. There are steel rims with no hubcaps, blackwall tires.
Now, WHO could resist? I know I just GOTTA have it!
