thanks for all the kind words and prayers!

I actually am in Baton Rouge and 42 ft above sea level.  He is locked up tight in our garage!  So he should be fine unless our live oak tree crashes into the house!

Paul:

You would be proud of the men and women of the US Military.  There were approximately 2 miles of Hum V's and other assorted Military Vehicles, bumper to bumper, driving into New Orleans on Thursday, approximately 1,500 military personnel in those vehicles.

I have NEVER seen anything like it!

Sure makes you proud to be an AMERICAN!

Go US Military!

OK National Guard has a brigade in the sand box and one in training to go over in October.  We activated and sent many folks out last Friday (not sure whether brigade strength or not) to Houston to help receive medical/elderly that are being evacuated.  They will bed these folks down, then become part of the force end strength if needed.

Our prayers are with all these folks, both the locals/civvies and the military.

Our prayers go out to all that might be in harms way, stay safe! It is good to hear the Government has taken action early on. Thanks to all our military involved!
