With my one vote, it is now 49% NO to 51% YES
It would be more interesting to see the TOTAL number of "votes"...

Happy Days are here Again...............FINIALLY people are speaking or voting correctly (in my opinion). The current vote is 56-44 ( in favor of "In God We Trust")

Well, I just voted NOT to loose "IN God We Trust", I believe its is the right thing to keep it. Its now 43% to 57% for keeping the statement.
What makes our country great, is the fact that people can express an opinion, and not be oppressed by the government. Thsi being an NBC poll, I am not at all suprised by the high vote against. Afterall, who watches NBC to know about voting?

61% For Keeping 39% Against..........the GOOD GUYS are winning...THANKS!

Can I ask a question?
If I vote "no", does that make me a BAD person?
I may regret asking this question, but I must.

of a democracy
. You can go with the separation of church from state...........which in a sense is correct................so you got me. There aren't any bad persons regardless of your vote. Now do you regret your asking, or do I regret making it good/bad? The answer is: I'm wrong
to make that equation. Thanks for asking!

[/QUOTE] Actually the answer is no you are not a bad person. You just have a different point of view. That is the beauty

It has been my day to toss gasoline on smoldering internet embers. I really ticked someone off earlier today on a different web site.
It was never my intention to play "Gotcha", Larry.
Your response is most eloquent.

Sundew, you are welcome to your thoughts. It does not make you a bad person. Some people are bad due to there thoughts, but I don't think so this time.
I would like to inquire as to why you feel that way. Educate those who disagree with you. Granted I will still disagree, but perhaps I will be more educated to other thought processes. You have my curiosity up.
