Gee Larry..thanks for sharing how easy it might be to break into someone's home......
Whazzamattawidyew?
I assume this "trick" would be fairly easy with windows in the overhead door...which is one reason mine is windowless. Most automatic door openers also have a setting on them to adjust the closing tension. Tweek that setting a bit, and the door will close tight enough to keep Bubba Burgler from pushing the top of the door in far enough to slim-jim the door. You could also add an extension to the top panel of the door...then, when they stick their hook in there, they will be fishing way over the top of the release, and even if they do manage to hook it, they'll be pulling UP on it...
friggin thieves...thanks for pizzin me off today, Larry.....
