Half mast in the state of NJ tomorrow. I will be at work in midtown, but my heart will always be in ground zero...I lost many friends on 9/11. Worked on the 97th fl of tower 2 for nearly 6 years and was there for the 1993 bombing. Walked all the way down from 97 in the dark carrying a disabled woman. 2 blocks away when the towers came down in 2001.

But, we took the fight to the terrorists and kicked some ass.

Always Remember, Never Forget.

Solemnly,

We should all take the time to remember the tragedy... the innocent folks that died, and the folks that did everything they could to save as many as they could...
I was thinking about this this morning...just so sad that this country has gotten so lax in it's allowing ANYONE that wants to to come in....and kill us.
The Gov. spent millions of tax-payer dollars in the late '70s trying to get John Lennon deported....makes a lot of sense, right?
Yet, they had NO problem allowing KNOWN terrorist to come in, and go to flight schools so they could learn how to fly a plane well enough to hit huge buildings full of people.

I will never forget....

I fully agree, I don't think anyone will ever forget where they were and what they were doing on that morning.  We should make 9/11 a national day of rememberance and mourning.    Cry

I'll never forget, and I will never forgive.
Tomorrow at the Harmon Cove Plaza, Secaucus NJ. is having a cruise night in remembrance of 9/11
To think, that quite a few idiots in this country think the terrorist should be granted rights !

I will never forget.  I had just woke my son up for school and we were watching the first tower burning when the second plane hit the other tower Confused

This is a day that will live on long past any of us, much like December 7, 1941. We must never forget, and we must make sure it never happens again.

Semper Fi to all who have served, and all who are serving our country, military, police, and firefighters.

I watched a special on TV about the attack on the Pentagon the other night.  The Miltary personnel actually got into scuffles with the First Responders trying to get back into the building to save people that they could hear screaming for help.  The fire fighters actually had to set up a line of men to keep them out of the building.  Minutes later that entire section of the building colapsed Cry
