I'm thinking about putting a remote starter in my 2001 MDX.
Can anyone tell me how easy or hard it is to do it myself?
Can anyone recommend a particular system to buy?

Thanks!

That was useful. Thanks, Glen.
My kid is 4. I'm not sending him to start the car!

Adam,
There's a whole crap load of different systems out there. Just pick one that starts by touching one button. On my last one I had to press 2 button simultaneously. What a PITA.
P.S.
They're great to have.

Adam, I have a Design-Tech in my truck and a Bulldog remote start in my wifes Buick. They are not to hard to put in took me around 3 hours. What ever brand you pick you go online at their website, punch in your vehicle they give you the wiring colors and where they are in the harness. Up my way places like Circuit City run specials on the remote starter and installation, there are good deals and are guaranteed. They are great to have and all have there own safety features.

I hope you don't keep your car in an integral garage. Manual trans can be a problem.
