That's right..the Gov'ment has decided that it will be illegal to grow ANY kind of food by any individual.

Google it...there's TONS of info on this bill out there, and it was supposedly voted on today.

Some folks wanted change....we're gettin it....

The one thing that stood out was the first part of the summary that stated any person..not  business would fall under this law..and it puts the dept of homeland security in charge of it..there is some really bad stuff happening in this world right now that we will never know..to put this kind of measure in place means real bad stuff is here or coming..I don't really mean from just our gov't..from everywhere!

So....what if I wanna grow termaters, or okra, or jalapenos in my back yard, for my own consumption?
The "really bad stuff" is the dang politicians giving in to this kind of crap so they can get some of their own crap passed.
I grew up on a farm. We raised just about ALL of our own foods, including beef, poultry, pork, veggies, etc. We didn't sell any of it...we ATE it. This bill would keep anyone from doing that....I think it's a bad deal....
Plus, the language ain't even finished yet...they can still add to it after it passes. It's another "blank check" from the citizens to the friggin gov'ment.

FYI..I saw that Casey is a sponsor of this bill..he is my senator..I have sent an email to him about this..I protested the wording of "any person"..I am extremely political..he has heard from me before and I always get a reply..I have added this one to my list of things to follow..I will let you know when I hear back and what response I get and to what favor..

My son bought a farm last year so his family could grow their own food for their own consumption.

There are so many countries in the world where people CAN'T grow there own food.  The government and cartels control all the food.  We know how THAT's working out.  If you're not scared $#*^less by what our government is trying to do these days, you must be dead.

I just can't imagine a Federal Agent showing up for work and being told he/she will be doing surveillance on Ma & Pa's veggie garden.

I have not got a response yet from Casey..this is a first..I will chase after some local HRs ..I had one of them at the house a few weeks ago before the election..I won't even try Specter..he's a lost man..in every way..good bye..I am hoping the lame duck is just that but I won't hold my breath..let's see if they can keep one promise and not raise taxes..but I won't hold my breath..I just don't and will not understand why Govt thinks what they are doing is right for us..scared is not an option I have..only action, to be as involved as I can be in this great country..I spent two weekends in DC doing what I could and to learn and see as much as possible..unfortunately many things in our govt is done behind closed doors due to security..keep your heads up and start hiding seeds!

Well I don't know if anyone has noticed but this one went thru in November..thanks to the incompetent Reid he did not add a tax to the bill, as per the constitution, and it has to go back to a vote again..thank the allmighty that this was done..not sure if on purpose or they just forgot to add that page to the bill..I can't believe a bill could go thru both houses and not have funding attached????  Something is fishy about this as always..Oh and wonder boy Casey did vote for this thing as he has everything else Reid has pushed up our behinds!!!  I guess we got 2 more years of his Lib crap to live thru also..

This has gone thru on Sunday..it needs to go thru the senate next for a vote in the next couple of days or it may be scuttled next year..not sure if this is going to make it thru the reid Senate this week..Never know..
