Cost of the Prius.  Look at the sticker and pay.  No discount.  My C5 also gets 30+mpg but it uses 93 octain and the Prius gets 50 on 87 octain and you can get two or three of them for the price of one C6.  My math tells me that I can go two miles in the Toyota for the price of one in the C5 and the 73 does not do that well.  Go figure.  I also wish that GM would get off of their back side and get competitive with the Toyota.  As soon as they do we will have one.  No I do not work for Toyota!  And, when the Volt finally comes out, if it ever does, you can be there will be no discount either.  Wouldn't it be wonderful if all car dealers just showed the price everyone pays on the window.  Has anyone ever negotiated for a car and really believed the you did not get screwed?

No problem. What you want is a new diesel VW.

I think one of my neighbors has a either a Tesla or that crazy looking saturn convertiblel, I'll have to take a closer look next time I see it. I've been looking at a prius myself, I'm the type of person that would drive a potato truck down the road and not give a hoot about what it looks like though. They've been around in Japan for a lot longer than here. I rode in a echo hybrid there about 6 years ago it was pretty nice. I'm waiting unil the newer prius version has had some time on the road before geting one. They are roomy I'm a big 6'2 300lb gorrilla so that's actually a pretty good selling point for me well that and I'm a cheapskate!

Big%20smileAn old boss of mine showed me this car. It seems to be the coolest electric car out there, of course if you like cool quiet cars!
