The Aussie's make some pretty cool rides IMO. I always liked the Elky's of past. Too bad it won't be branded under the Chevy name.
After owning a Aussie made GTO, I have to admit they do build a decent car.

Nice to see this... It(Caballero)is a pretty slick looking piece of work. My only wish is that GM would manufacture it in the USA. With our economy struggling sending more each day it really hurts to see American Industry suffer with the loss of more jobs.
I have friend with and SRT and it is super quick. I sent him this link for his review. I bet he will like it.

Got my Feb 08 Motor Trend today. On page 12, shows the Pontiac G8 Sport Wagon.
Based on the same chassis. Looks like a good selection of cars will be coming from down under.

I like the looks of this El Camino much better
I love El Camino's, If I didn't own a Vette I'd own a Camino.

The old original El Camino's are popular with the Vette owners around here.
Maybe an El Camino Vette would sell.

Vette(s): 1979, Targa Blue (72 Color), Pace Car rear spoiler, L88 hood, Dark blue factory interior, 525HP 406, HD 700R4, 370 gears,Steeroids, composite rear spring, TT IIs wrapped in T/A Radials.
Ashame one of the largest U.S. car companies has to ship it's cars to the U.S. from half way around the world.
(That's just me being a proud American...)

Have to agree with Mark on the looks.
If there was a bit of "El Camino revival", sportier looks, HP packages, etc loke the other retro muscle that's comiung out, I'd be a lot more impressed.

Next Nissan, Toyota and Hyundai pick up cars?

I am just glad that we are beginning to have a choice of manual transmission rear drive cars.
I agree, it would be nice if it would be USA.

Now that makes perfect sense. What better vehicle to use to haul my trash to the dump each week?

I knew there must have been at least one built by someone.
Why not?
