One of our shop owners goes nutz...

Robert goes into the shop Monday morning and fires everyone...then we hear about this this morning shortly after it hits the news at 9:45a....
I'm at home(with dial-up), so I'm not sure what all the video will show, but my boss was over there today getting customer's trannys and paper work to bring to our shop to complete...his truck was shown on the news earlier at that shop...

I used to work at that particular shop years ago, when the first owner opened it. He sold it to Robert just about a year ago.

Scary stuff...

Really sad situation.  I just don't understand why someone would kill their family before committing suicide.   Got to be completely crazy.  A truly horrible and selfish act.  If they want to die, fine, but don't take innocent lives of your loved ones.   Sick, sick, sick.

The dog is what gets me...
The news reports aren't right....he fired everyone Monday, but the news is saying he didn't show up for work. The notice on the door was put there Monday night, after the guys got most of their tools & stuff out...that's why they were coming back Tuesday.

The builder was at my shop yesterday looking for a job...
The black/silver Chevy truck in the news video is my boss's truck from earlier this morning.

I can't say for sure, but I have to suspect drugs are involved...I can't see money issues being the source of that much misery, but...

Well...I got a call last nite after 10pm from the Eagle Franchise owner.
He wanted me to meet him at the shop in Garland to gather up all of the transmissions they had, and the parts, so we could take them and the cars to our shop in Mesquite to finish for the customers... The manager here has been on the phone most of the morning talking with the customers from that shop, trying to calm them down, and verify that they will be able to get their cars back, repaired...
Soooooo....I been over there all morning until about 11. One of the "former" employees was there helping to get stuff straightened out.... needless to say, he weren't in the best of moods. He's actually the one that found them...

I did find a LARGE trash bag full of empty 24 ouncers out back, and was told the guy was a saucer....
It's still a big, sad mess...
