Hey, Brandon, just wanted to give you a shout from the great state of Maryland just below you. Glad to hear you're doing better! Just hang in there, buddy, and before you know it you'll be at a Phillies game! Our prayers will be with you. With God, all is possible!

Heh Bud, so how was the weekend?
I pretty much stayed put all weekend inside. Cause you know what happens if I go out side in this cold.
My wife, daughter, son, and I have been cleaning out our basement for the last couple of weekends. We built our house 20 years ago and have been filling the basement with stuff. We have taken a few truck loads of toys, stuffed animals, games, books, and clothes to some local shelters and salvation army. Plus my garbage men have been busy with all the junk we have decided to part with. Before we built our house I bought a nice used slate top pooltable and have never put it together. I have been making room for it to be set up and should be able to start tomorrow night, my family is very excited.
I have been a big NASCAR fans since I was like your age. The sport was not that popular back then. Not like now with all the million dollar sponcerships and all. I have lots of really cool old race things like signed programs from the old crew chiefs and race car drivers. One of my favorite drivers was Richard Petty and I have been to his race shop many times over the years. I have lots of his stuff that he has siged for me. My friends laugh at me because back in those days they did not have race teeshirts or race jackets. I made my own race jacket back then and still have it. I bought two windbreaker coats one blue and one red. Richard Petty had a Petty blue car that had the sides also painted Red to match his sponcer STP colors. Yep I had my aunt back then that used to be real good at sewing take off the blue arms of the blue jacket and sew the red arms onto the blue coat. I had purchased patches to put on the jacket and I think I was the first kid to have a Petty Enterprise race coat.
Yep I've been a wacko for a long long time. I'm so glad I took such good care of my NASCAR stuff when I was young and keep it safe as I still have it all like brand new today.
When I get my basement finished I'm going to get all my old stuff out and put it on display. So while the cold weather is here and I can not work on the Corvettes we will work on our basement room.
OK I better let you go now........I talk alot.....
You rest up and I'll check back later. Good night.........
