bought a 48 ford rat/street rod, it is suppose to have a camero front clip with Vin # 899A2182743 and a small block chevy Casting # 3970014,  could you tell me info on the clip and what engine is according to casting #'s ...Thanks 

went on line and found engine casting #, its 70-73 camero, camero's I found out don't have vin # stamped on sub frame, maybe cause they can be removed and used on another car, the vin # I have must be a DMV assigned vin #, I have to look for the steering box casting date to narrow it down...thanks
