[QUOTE=corvette440hp] Send it to Joel...........he can fix anything!!!

Now yer just bein silly...
Terry, did you try re-booting and pressing the F10 button as soon as it comes on? This should put it in "Restore" mode, assuming it's a Windows based system. I did "fix" a friends 'puter like that a couple of years ago. His wouldn't go past the first boot screen(DOS)...not even to the blue Windows screen.
Just wonderin.
Let us know how bad it was...

I'm comming at you from the library PC. Just can't stay away. The puter is at the pro shop. Yes Joel I did try booting up restore, but it won't load. I also fixed one a while back by restoring back to a date before the hijacker did his thing. But most of the utilities won't load. We'll see how good this fixer guy is.
His name is Goober............

Well people, this saga keeps gettin worse. I dropped of my home PC at the repair guy's place on Fri. When I got to work on Mon. my business puter wouldn't start up.

. Missing or corrupt system config file. OK so I bring work puter to the guy, and pick up the home one. Fire up home one, wasn't right. Programs still not comming up and browser screwed up.
So I rotate pc's again and will try home one tonite. I am comming from work pc that earlier shut down on my son for who knows why.

So all I can say is puters, "sux".

He did install the best cleaners and protection to keep this from happening again.
We'll see........................

Thanks for letting me vent

Wow, "T" glad to see you back..........it was lonely without you. Going to be on tonight (chat night), if you can?
