The Malwarebytes, is good. I found Avast from a comment that Adam made to me a few weeks ago. It seems to be really thorough.
Spyware Terminator is great, BUT...it doesn't want to play with others, so it might wreak havoc if you leave it "activated" all the time. Other than that, it works fine for scanning/deleting.
That's all I can add. My home PC had the same issues a few months ago. I couldn't restore, or anything like that. The Malwarebytes took care of the problem for me.
As has been said, there is NO one program that will keep you safe from every threat out there.....
Good Luck!

It is free, and all you have to do is to renew it once a year.
I highly recommend. Plus, It is updated daily.

Well fellers. Once again I am overwhelmed by the help and response I get from all of you. Much appreciated. Here's where I'm at. For me my puter is just like my Vette. I can do only so much before I have to humble myself and call in a pro before I mess it up completely. The problem I have is my windows is so messed up that I can't even download new programs. I am getting the blue screen of death that shuts down my system. I was told I better get this fixed before it shuts down completely. So tomorrow its going to a professional who is sure he can fix it.
