We need to decide on a location for the 2005 C3VR Member Meeting. It was discussed at the 2004 meeting that perhaps it should be at C3X again or somewhere else in the country.

Please make your selection. If the majority vote is for "Somewhere else" I will post another thread asking for suggestions of where "somewhere else" should be.

ALL VOTES MUST BE IN BY NOV 2!

Thanks!

Adam,
Shouldn't this thread jump to the top of the list when someone votes. It didn't for me.

So I'll help give it a bit of a push. |laugh|

Maybe it should be a sticky thread until the 11/2 deadline. |thumb|

Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
I wasn't going to add to this post except to vote but what the heck__ I allways thought that it should maybe be moved around and then I had a change of heart.

It should stay a the NCM, and at the same week end every year, maybe not october, that way it solves serveral issues:

1) same place , same time, every year. People can plan there trip a year in advance.

2) less to advertise the last thing every year.

3) repetition creates habits, easy to remember year after year

4) kinda of centrally located to west and east coast travelors

It just makes more logic to keep it the same. Just a thought!

Agree completely with 1BadLT1. Much easier to plan for and ... only have to plan for one trip instead of two.

Same place, same time make it easy to plan for. Some folks like me have never been to NCM, so it would be a very special trip.

I travel a great deal for business and some of the assignments ( trade shows )have taken me to really cool places like Vegas, San Antonio, New Orleans, etc and this makes the trip worth volunteering for, so it can go both ways.

I voted for some other place yesterday ....

BUT reading the minutes of the meeting made me feel that I should back a suggestion for having "regional" meetings...Read that as WEEKEND PARTIES....

If we can do that I see no reason not to have a NATIONAL Meeting at Bowling Green....every year...

My desire for regional weekend getaways etc is that
I had a hell of a blast at the weekend in Hershey and very much enjoyed putting faces to names...yada yada pass the beer
