I need your photos!
Please read this ENTIRE post BEFORE submitting your photo. Especially the part about photo file quality!!
Please send an email to the address below and include One (1) photo of or a URL pointing to a photo of your C3 that you would like to have featured in the calendar, making sure to follow the submission rules below.
Submission deadline is 9/30/2008!
Rules for submission:
Follow these rules very carefully! If any rule is ignored or information requested is missing, your entry will be discarded.
- You may not submit an entry for the 2009 calendar if you were featured in a previous C3VR Member calendar.
- Only send ONE (1) photo. Pick your favorite and send it.
- In the body of your email, specify the following specs:
- Your C3VR Member Name and/or ID Number
- Model Year
- Exterior Color Name
- Engine Type (eg. L48) and/or Size (eg. 350/174hp)
- Any special type (eg. Collector's Edition, Silver Anniversary, etc)
- Year Purchased
- Where photo was taken, if you think it is worthy of mention
- Your C3VR Member Name and/or ID Number
- In the body of your email, specify how you want your name associated with the picture if it is used. You may specify one of the following:
- Do not use your name
- Specify your C3VR Member name and your Real First Name
- Specify your C3VR Member name and your Real First & Last Name
- In the body of your email, specify how you want your location associated with the picture if it is used. You may specify one of the following:
- Do not use your location
- Specify your City and State, Country
- Specify your State, Country
- Quality - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!! The image file must be of a substantial quality in regards to DPI (eg. 300) and Resolution (eg. 1760x1168). The higher these numbers are, the better it will look when printed, especially on a calendar. You'll probably need a 2.1 megapixel camera or better, set at the highest quality setting possible.
- Artfulness - The image should be tasteful and free of anything that would detract from the Vette. For example, no people, no other cars, no business signs. Examples of good backgrounds are: open fields, a park, a tree-lined 2-lane road, your driveway, etc.
- Framing - Framed so that the entire Vette is in the picture. It can be taken from any angle except straight on of the rear.
- Scenery - The prettier the background, the better. Plus, keep in mind that we'd like to have season appropriate photos. For example, a background of trees turning color in the fall; trees and flowers blooming in the spring; snow covered roadway in the winter, etc.
The more of these criteria that you meet, the more likely your photo will be used.
If you have any questions, please email PM or EMail me.
Send your submission to: CalendarREMOVETHIS@C3VR.com
MAKE sure to take out "REMOVETHIS" from the email address! This is for SPAM protection!

If your submission does not get selected, you will NOT be contacted. I simply do not have time to send everyone an email.
If your submission IS selected, you will NOT be notified directly. You will have to check the page that is created for ordering the calendar once it has been completed.
If you send an email to address above and it is not bounced back (returned) to you, then I DID receive it. There is no need to send me a separate email asking if I got it.
Thanks and good luck!

This year, I will be creating a more professional looking calendar.
It will be less cluttered and the images will take up the entire page (no white borders).
Also, it will be available for order on demand! I will not have to take pre-orders, and there will be no minimum. The printing, payment processing and shipping will be handled by a service called Lulu.com. This will allow me the freedom of not having to do the order taking and shipping myself. It will allow all of you the freedom to order whenever you want and get fairly quick service (about one week). You'll be able to order as many as you like, whenever you like, for as long as you like. There will be no cut off date. Once they are for sale, they'll be for sale forever. Also, the entire world will be able to order them, not just C3VR members.
Also, there will be two versions available. One just like last year, a 11"x17" (when open) spiral bound AND also a 13.5"x19" Poster-Size calendar! I had a sample of each made and will post a sample of each soon (and certainly on the order page).
So far, I have only received two entries. I need LOTS more! Follow the directions above to submit.
Thanks!
