Vette(s): 1978 25 anniversary blue on blue with T-tops.
I am in the process of filtering thru them. The slide show was done with Chicago as the back drop cuz I could not get the lake as the backdrop. So I am hopin for a clear day this weekend to go up to Wisconsin and take a cpl more pics with the lake as the back drop. The rallies clean up nice on it. I like the blue as well with a nice quality not too overstated pin stripe that it has looks good. I want to get it repainted the same when I can afford it. It needs a new paint job but not immediatly.

Hi Rafterman,
Your 'Vette is gorgeous. But I was also interested in the '64 Impala beside you. We have a '64 Impala 4-door Sport Sedan (no post) that has been in my husband's family since it was new.
He inherited it when his grandmother died. We rebuilt the engine back in the 90's and he repainted it (the same blue as the one in your picture!). Now it has sat in our barn for 10 years and alas, needs painting again.
It was interesting to see one at a car show. We entered ours once in the "unfinished" category and won. Ha!
Take care,
Sheryl

OK this morning I went out and found a great location here in Vancouver to take some pics of my Vette.
I ended up taking over 100 pics that none of them seemed just right.
I did figure out that several of the pics were what I was looking for but need to adjust the Vette and do a couple things to get want I want.
So I will go out again to get the one shot that works.
You would think taking a picture of your Vette would be easy but it's not.
I hope to have a winner when I'm done (I know before 9/30/08).

OK I got my best shots today. Now I just got to pick out the "ONE" that works the best (I only took 71 today). Too bad we can't send in at least 3 pictures for the Boss to pick the best 1 out of the 3. Anyway, I'll be sending mine in soon.

I sent in my photo. I did send in an e-mail from both my Kodak Easy Share and my HP Photosmart, they both have the same picture. I wanted to make sure the photo would work with one or the other software. Adam, I hope that is OK and didn't freak you out.

Last minute entry I have been so busy this year haven't had much time for
anything other then family and work.
Hope everyone has been well at the mighty C3VR.
Now that things have slowed a bit it will give me some time to sit back relax and enjoy the site a lot more.
Good luck to all the entries!
Hank.
