I should point out that I hope if you did not make the calendar that you are not offended. Picking the photos for use in the calendar is actually quite a difficult process.
Here are the many things I have to consider:
- Does it meet the requirements of the submission rules? (ie, no people, no other cars, etc).
- Does it meet the size requirements? (Is the photo file the proper quality to be blown up to calendar size, is it the right shape so that it will fit on the calendar, etc)
- Is it simply a great looking shot? (background, colors, etc)
- Are there already too many of the same color already selected? (Don't want all Red cars).
- Are there already too many of the same year already selected.? (Don't want all 79s).
- Does it have any significance to a certain month? (patriotic for July, leaves turning for September, pumpkins for October, snow for January, etc).
It's quite a process.
Mind you, I'm not complaining, just trying to explain what goes into it.
So, if you submitted a photo and were not selected, just remember that I received well over 20 entries (I think over, 30 actually), and only 12 can make it. You can always submit again next year.
Thanks again to all of you that submitted photos and for allowing me to use them in our calendar!
I very much appreciate your support!

Great group of Sharks again this year! Congrats to all of the finalists!!!

Just to add to....all of ya'll have PLENTY of time to get some kewl shots of yer rides before NEXT YEAR'S calendar, so don't put it off(like I do every year)....take a camera wid ya any time you take a ride, and you'll find that somewhere on your drive will be that great location. Spur of the moment pics always seem more neato than posed shots, for some reason.
