It's that time again!  Time to start routing through photos of your Vette (or taking new ones) to submit for consideration in our 2023 C3VR Member Calendar.  Here are the details:

We will be putting together a 2023 C3VR Member Calendar. It will be a 12 Month Calendar featuring C3VR Members' C3s!

We need your photos!!!

Please read this ENTIRE post BEFORE submitting your photo. Especially the part about photo file quality!!

Submission deadline is 10/31/2022!

Rules for submission:

Follow these rules very carefully! If any rule is ignored or information requested is missing, your entry will be discarded.

All submissions will be reviewed and judged on the following criteria:
  1. Quality - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!  The image file must be of a substantial quality in regards to DPI (eg. 300) and Resolution (eg. 1760x1168). The higher these numbers are, the better it will look when printed, especially on a calendar. You'll probably need a 2.1 megapixel camera or better, set at the highest quality setting possible.
A good clue to picture size is the size of the photo file. If the file is greater than 2mb (2,000kb), then it is likely big enough. Any smaller, is likely unusable!
*** THIS IS THE NUMBER ONE REASON PHOTOS ARE NOT SELECTED!! *** If your photo is not the proper size, it will be rejected no matter how pretty it is!
  2. Artfulness - The image should be tasteful and free of anything that would detract from the Vette. Examples of good backgrounds are: open fields, a park, a tree-lined 2-lane road, your driveway, etc.
  3. No people and no other non-Corvette cars - This is about C3s, not anything or anyone else. However, if you happen to own a C3 and other generation Corvettes, you may include the other Corvettes in the pictures. (Here is an example of a picture that has non-corvettes in the background.)
  4. Framing - Framed so that the entire Vette is in the picture. It can be taken from any angle. (Here is an example of a picture that was not framed correctly)
  5. Scenery - The prettier the background, the better. Plus, keep in mind that we'd like to have season appropriate photos. For example, a background of trees turning color in the fall; trees and flowers blooming in the spring; snow covered roadway in the winter, American themed for May or July, holiday themed for October, November and December, etc.
  6. LANDSCAPE - not portrait.  Your photos must be Landscape (wide) and not portrait (tall).
The more of the above criteria that you meet, the more likely your photo will be used.

Submission directions:
  1. DO NOT CROP YOUR PICTURES! Send the original full-size pictures only! If cropping is needed, we will take care of that for you. We need the full-size original picture to make sure we get the best quality resolution so it can be printed in the calendar.
  2. TO SUBMIT YOUR PHOTO(S):
New this year! Fill out this submission form to submit your photo(s).
Note: You must be a current C3VR member and logged in to access the submission form!
If your submission is selected, you may not be notified directly.  You may have to check the page that is created for ordering the calendar once it has been completed.

If you have questions
Please PM me

Submission deadline is 10/31/2022!

Thanks and good luck!
