Hey Adam, how did you come up with the member numbering system? I joined before the 800 member post and my member number is 913. Not that I mind, just curious.

I just have to do this. I am admittedly not the sharpest crayon in the box, but at least I can spell signed. |biggrin| I guess none of the brains here caught you this time Adam |devil|

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
Hey Adam,

I see we have 800 members now. Why are there only 312 vettes registered? Is there almost 500 people who don't want us to know what they have? |headscratch| What's the deal? Is 312 the correct count?

Yup, unfortunately that is correct.

The most unfortunate part is that most of the 800 members that have "signed up" don't frequent the site. If/when they come back, they will get a pop-up notice asking them to register.

Do you think they joined quite a while ago, and didn't like it then? I know that I personally like it better now, than when I joined. It is much more informative. Maybe you could send a group e-mail to tell them to visit again , and see what they think!!

We've actually done that recently. From what I can tell, it only brought a few people back.

You have to really wonder what they are looking for in a site. Possibly they would like someone to pay them to visit ( NOT ). This site has a lot of things to do to keep a person's interest. If they are afraid to show their cars or where they live, they don't have to. All that is required is to be just a little bit of a team player and interact with the other members. So much for my two cents...mater of fact, gimme some change |smile|

Adam, you diffenently need to charge Glenn more for his membership. |laugh| He makes money by selling rides in his vette and now he wants change for putting in his 2 cents worth. I'll bet that he pinches a nickle to watch the buffalo poop. |cheers|

I haven't seen a buffalo on a nickel since I was a kid and let me tell ya, that has been quite some time ago. I did used to pinch them then ( how did you know that? ) but I did it then out of shear meanness just to hear them squeal like pigs. I would even pluck the feather off the Indian's headress on the pennies. |devil|
