Don't know if all my IM got through earlier. I'll check with some friends to see if they have any thoughts on file uploads and how to best handle them. The more detail you can give on the problem you're having would help me ask the right question.

Shared or multi-user use of MS-Access has not been its strong suit, at least as far as I've heard. Migrating the database to MS-SQL7 or 2K is a fairly easy process and would be a much better performer in the long run (no pun intended).

I just need a good way to allow users to upload files to my server using VBScript and/or Java. The code I use now is flaky, doesn't work 100% of the time and REALLY bogs down the resources for the rest of the folk on the site at the same time.

As far as the Access database. I know Access sucks for Multi-user. I'm not a huge fan of it myself. However, that is my only choice at this time. I am not running on my own server. I am running on a web-host service. They do not offer SQL Sever.

As some point, should this site get big enough, and generate enough money to buy my own server, I'm gonna do it!
