I dont agree with internet memberships on general principle as I feel it hinders the free exchange of ideas. I DO NOT wish to be considered..

I cant understand the concept of people not having ten dollars to pay for a membership if they wish to use this site..

If you own a corvette and are serious about driving, restoring, modifying, or just owning it then 10$ is a miniscule price to pay.

10$ is a meal at McDonalds..

If you cant afford ten dollars... you shouldnt own a vette.

Ben, in general I agree with you.

But there are some cases where life hands you crap. I know, I have been there. Some of these folk may be trying to hold on to the last hobby, love, joy, they have aside from their family. If they have a family. It really hurts to give up something you really want, but find you just have to do it. I have been there as well. Don't be too harsh.

However there are many who are just cheap......... ect........And don't deserve anything. From our end it's hard to tell them apart sometimes. When you get close they become clear. I have no concerns for the cheap ............. The others I am glad to see get help.

The contract my company was working for was underbid by another company and my job will end as of July 1, 2004. My wife was pink slipped at her high school and is now unemployed.

The reason I can't pay for membership is that I've lost my job and haven't been able to find work yet.
I am not a deadbeat, just financially challenged right now.
So, if the offer stands, I'd appreciate it if you would consider including me.

Thanks,
Patricia Bankston
