The C3 Vette Registry will be in operation for exactly 1 year on 11/1/2002!
I've been trying to come up with a way for us to celebrate. I was thinking of throwing some sort of party. But since membership is scattered across the U.S. and the world, it would be impossible to have one party that everyone could attend.
So, next I thought of offering something to the current members as a way of saying "Thanks for supporting and helping C3VR to grow."
So this is what I've come up with:
For three days only, starting Friday, 11/1/2002 at Midnight EST until Sunday, 11/3/2002 11:59PM EST, I am going to offer C3VR Gold Memberships at 1/2 off. That means a 1-Year Gold Membership will be only $12, and a 2-Year Gold Membership will be only $22! Plus, no matter which membership you choose, you'll get the remainder of 2002 for Free, meaning your 1-Year Gold Membership is good until 12/31/2003 or your 2-Year Gold Membership is good until 12/31/2004! Also, I will offer Lifetime Memberships at $50 off, meaning it will be only $149 (or 4 monthly payments of $37.25 each).
And don't forget, if you become a Gold or Lifetime Member now, you'll be on the list to receive the first C3VR Quarterly Printed Newsletter being sent out in January!
To see a list of all the Gold & Lifetime Membership benefits, go to: "Gold Membership" from the "My Account" Menu.
In just one year, the C3VR membership has grown to over 1400! However, only slightly over 100 of those 1400 are paying members and those folks are supporting the operation of the site. I wish I could say that C3VR has been a gold mine for me, but that's not why I started it in the first place. I wanted to have a forum to meet other C3 owners and have a place to share our common interests. Currently I am just barely covering the costs of operation, and I certainly would like to continue operating the C3VR forever. You have all demonstrated in the past year that you enjoy having a place for C3s and support my efforts. For that, I am very thankful, and am proud to have the membership that I do!
Please help celebrate C3VR's 1st Birthday, and get a great deal for yourself by taking advantage of this Three Day celebration!
Starting at Midnight EST on 11/1, go to: "Gold Membership" from the "My Account" Menu to become a Gold or Lifetime Member!
(You will need to pay by credit card or check through PayPal to take advantage of this event.)
Thanks again for your support!

hi adam,
happy to be on board. thanks for your efforts. This is my first vette. I always wanted to get one, but there was always another motorcycle that cought my eye. When health reasons prevented me from riding any more , I finally bought my 81. I read a post that if any member has any ideas on improving the C3VR to let you know. Well i belong to the VRCC, check out their web site and their enrollment #. The cost of membership is free. the cost of keeping the site up and running is covered by the sale of products sold to the membership and sponcerships. It was started in 1998, I was member 224. It now has 17,000 plus world wide. You can check it out at htt:// www.f6rider.com

Thanks for the comments.
I would like C3VR to be completely free to members, but there are features that C3VR offers it's members, online and offline, that require a substantial financial backing to support. I'm not sure what VRCC offers to its members, but for starters, it apprears that their site was not professionally desgined. That is just one of the many things that cost a lot of money to keep this site up, running, looking and acting good.
Thanks again for the comments, and if you or anyone ever has any suggestions for C3VR, please don't hesitate to let me know!
