Adam,
I will be at Carlisle for a couple of the days but I can not guarantee that I can give you a specific amount of time at C3VR. I have to man our spaces also. I will try to spell you as I can, sorry I can not be more specific.

Adam, I'll help you out some. I should be around the whole weekend, but I'll have my daughter with me Sat & Sun probably. We'll coordinate schedules when it gets closer and I figure out when I'm supposed to be at a few other places.

Not to sound dumb, but since I am....WHERE is Carslile? =) I'd like to go if my Vette is ready by then, but I need to know when/where etc =) If I can make it I'll gladly help out at the booth part of the day =)

Are you sure you're not asking just to add another post to your count!?
I thought everyone knew where Carlisle is. It's like the biggest Vette show in the country.
Take a look at the C3VR Vette Events Calendar for August 2000 and click on Corvettes at Carlisle 2002.
That should tell you all you want to know, and more!

Adam,
Actually I am sure I'm not, unless the leaders have done some VERY serious fluff posting I'm so far behind 10th place is a reach and a half. I've always loved my uncle's "Red" 1980 shark(faded to pink=) and intended to buy it off him when I turned 25, but I got lucky and found one sooner and better(white not "red") so I jumped on it, but I'm not a person who pays much attention to something I never expect to own, so truthfully, while having HEARD of Carslile, I'd never considered myself a candidate for going/having a Vette to take! =) Very excited to be a Vette owner tho.

Scot,
Don't feel that you NEED to take your Vette to Carlisle. It is an event that is well worth while to go to with or without your Vette. Make yourself a list of what you need and just walk the fair grounds till you find it for the best price. You might even be better off the first time you go it you drive a truck cause the Vette can only carry just so much in the way of parts in the " trunk ". The chances are, if you need it, you will find it there. I hope you find a way to get there, it is an experinace worth the effort. Stop by and see Adam at the C3VR booth and stop by and see me at the Keystone State Corvette booths....Adam will have the big C3VR sign ( and maybe some Hooters gals ) and we will have the brand new 2003 Red Vette with a model pushing raffle tickets for it.
Hope ya can make it

I'm probably going to be in the Vette since I have no idea what parts I will need(aside from a suspension!) and I'll be on my way to Newark for the weekend anyway..or back...I forget!
I'm excited tho!

Hey Dar,
They have these things called "airplanes" that you can "fly" in to get to far away places!

Hey Darla,
There is a kids story about a little engine that " thought he could ". I bet if you ask your Vette it would say " I think I can, I think I can , I think I can get to Carlisle" ! Go ahead, ask and see what reply you get
