I will be there on Fri appr. 2pm or earlier. I am not sure what gate or entrance to go to . Please reply at your earliest..Thanks, Dennis. I am glad to have signed up for the C3VR. ![]() |
If you didn't put C3VR as your club affiliation when you registered, I don't think you won't be able to park in the C3VR area. Plus, if you get there at 2pm, most of the parking will be filled up by then.
At any rate, make sure to stop by the C3VR tent in space ID-50 to say hi!

Although Friday should be much less crowded then Saturday
2 PM is a "hair" on the late side to arrive ... That said
Adam can allow you to park in the C3 area IF there are
Spaces available... The Carlisle Staff will not ask anyone to move their vehicle UNLESS someone from the Registry actually requests that they do so...
Anyway even though I do not know Adam (yet) you would be
dumb not to drive up to the area and ask... If they have the room ..(I expect them to have room) I bet for a beer out of your cooler Adam will grant you permission...
BUT Generally "most" registries will allow parking to anyone driving the correct car... and gererally it is not
a problem except on Saturday mornings... But by 11 or 12
on Saturday I would expect Adam to open up the parking to all C3's.
In either case the Western Penna group occupies the parking area next to the C3 area and they have in the past allowed non members to park in their area ..

And I am looking forward to stopping by and making some "new" friends and hopefully see them again in Hershey next month...

Hi Adam
If anyone wants to get together for a caravan to Carlisle, several of us who are getting on the Pennsylvania Turnpike at the Morgantown Interchange (mile marker 298.3) are going to meet at the McDonalds parking lot on Route 10 about 1 mile south of the interchange at 5:45 AM on Friday morning. If no one wants to get off the turnpike to hook up, there is a service plaza at mile marker 258.3 ..... we will pull into and look for others. If all goes well, we should be at the service plaza around 6:30 AM. So far, it is me, Al, and Avmark (Mark and Yvonne). Does anyone else want to hook up ???
