All great suggestions, but I think the greatest place in the northeast corridor with out a dought, would be the FALL SEASON in the POCONO MOUNTAINS.Top shelf scenery, tons of hotel rooms, and exellent mountain roads for a drive in your CORVETTE.Just my suggestion.

My first time here. Great to see all of the c3 owners. Allentown Pa gets my vote. There is a great park {Dorney} and you are only about 2 hrs from Atlantic City. I have heard that they even host club meetings.

How about something a little farther south rather than Cleveland so some of the folks in the southern areas may get to go - how about somewhere around the Pittsburgh or W.Va. or maybe Gettysburg, or ......
I think we all attend so many events during the year that it may be too far to go to another event.

Adam, I,m in Louisville, so anywhere is fine. Look in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge because they have plenty of rooms, great food and all kinds of activities. Just a idea!!!!

I don’t' know about the rest of you but September or October in the NORTH. Man isn’t it cold up there that time of year. I remember late September in West VA being COLD. Pigeon Forge isn't too bad that time of year and they have a really nice road in Devil’s Gap, if you like to drive fast through the mountains on curvy roads. Just my thoughts. I’ll see you all in Nashville & Bowling Green in June. Look for the 1979 on display in Nashville. If all goes as planed my 79 will be the one representing 1979 for the 50 Years of Corvette Display.

Freestate Corvette Club holds an annual show in Ocean City, MD. This year the event is tentatively scheduled for the first week in October. Ocean City is the largest resort area in the PA, DEL., NJ, VA.WV, DC area. People come there regularly from these areas plus Ohio, N&S Carolina, and many other states. It has lots of hotels & motels, more restaurants than you can count, night clubs, amusement parks, min & regular golf, entertainment for both adults & children of all ages, go-cart tracks, offshore fishing, jet ski rentals, plus the ocean (which could be a bit cold that time of year). Lots of clubs attend this event. There are normally two concourses, and two rallies. The event starts on Friday with a meet & greet. The show & rallies are Saturday. But the really big event is the boardwalk parade, late Saturday afternoon. All registered cars (that pass a safety inspection) can participate in the parade. This is the big thing; last year there were over 800 cars. Also this is the real show. All the cars in the parade meet at a parking lot it takes about 3 hours to get everything together and you have lots of time to see and talk with 800 or more Corvettes & their owners. Typically all the cars in a club will be grouped together in the parade. It’s a great event and it’s just after the season so the whole town is turned over to the show for the weekend. This is just a suggestion, but this site has something for everyone (oh I almost forgot the outlet malls for the ladies) the location is not great for those out west and far south or north but is central to the largest number of members.

Cedar Point would be great, I know a lot of the focus has been taken off the ohio area, but I live in kansas, so the coast would be a very long drive. Also, my car won't be ready for the event in June
but with any luck I should be able to have it at least decent for a get together in august or september, so something a little closer would be great, of course I realize that the club can't cater to my needs either, just thought I'd throw in my cents like everyone else, and hey if the offer stands to visit norm that's be great for one next year
