Vette(s): 2004 Commemorative Edition Coupe, Auto w/HUD. 13K miles in 2015. Sold 1982 Red Coupe

Maybe we need a separate folder for videos.

In the meantime, nice job.

Can you do it for VetteTube also?
As one of the unfortunate ones that doesn't have access to high-speed net....I sure hope this doesn't turn into one of them things where every other post will now have a video inserted... While I don't have to actually click/watch the vids, I do have to wait for the pages to load...groan...

Otherwise, I think it's a good deal...
Joel,
It doesn't load the video unless you click play.  So The loading of the player should not effect the load time for the thread page.  The player is loaded separately.

You and Jim are two that I know are on dial-up.  This thread has a few videos in it.  Does it seem to take any longer to load?

Actually, any images on the page require longer page load times for me. The smaller they are, the quicker they load, of course. But...if there are 4-5-6 images, in addition to the normal sig pics, it takes a while, especially compared to the DSL here at the shop. I know the vids don't automatically play, but the images are there...
I'll live...

I know they are images if you don't play them, but they are "OBJECTS".  And Objects should load AFTER the text of that page loads, so it should not slow down your loading of the page. That's what I'm trying to say.  But I can't test it since all my connections are highspeed.  Can you tell a difference between load times of this thread vs. one without you tube videos?

Umm...ah....well....lets put it like this.
When I click on a topic thread, the page loads the adds first, then it starts loading the page from the top down...it will put up the menu bars, then thread title, first post, and so on, until it gets to the bottom of the page/last post. It "scrolls" it in, for lack of better term.
This may simply be another one of those "Only Me" things, but...at home, this particular page, now that there are three u-tube things inserted, takes longer to load, because it "scrolls" the "image/object" onto the page...does that make a lick of sense?
It's not a big issue...I've gotten used to it over the years...

Geez, you know you could solve this by getting highspeed internet. And you'd can't use "they don't offer it around here" as a valid excuse because you could always move!  LOL
