This week C3VR reached its storage capacity.

What this means is that site performance was affected and new forum messages could not be stored.

To correct this, I had to upgrade my web hosting plan to the next level that allows for twice the storage capacity of the current plan.

As you may have guessed, upgrading the plan and gaining more storage capacity increased the monthly site hosting fee by 100%!

My cash reserves for operation is frightfully low right now. So I am turning to you, my members, to help out. There are a few ways you can do this.

The most effective way is to become a Gold or Lifetime Member.
To see a list of benefits of both types of membership, go to:
Membership Compare
To sign up to become a Gold or Lifetime member, go to:
Membership Signup
If you sign up now, your cost will be pro-rated -- since we are already in February, you only need pay for the remainder of the year. Yearly cost is $24.98, but for the remainder of the year it is $20.82. Two-year memberships are also pro-rated. Of course, Lifetime Membership is the best deal (if you plan to be a C3 owner for more than 5 years, that is). Plus, if you become a Lifetime member, you will not be affected by future membership cost increases, should they be necessary. To make the cost of the Lifetime Membership easier on you, there is an option to pay in 4 Monthly Installments.

You can purchase C3VR Apparel.
Remember, Gold & Lifetime Members always get a 10% discount on C3VR Apparel!

You can purchase CECF Raffle tickets, for a chance to win a 1990 ZR1:
A portion of the ticket sales goes to C3VR.

You can shop for Corvette and Non-Corvette items in the C3VR Shopping Center.
There are shopping categories for Automotive, Books & Magazines, Electronics, Insurance, Loans & Warranties, Music, Video & DVDs, Tools & Hardware, Travel and Wireless Communications.

You can bid on Corvette related Auctions on Ebay.
There are over a dozen categories to choose from!

You can patronize C3VR sponsors and click on any of the ads that you see throughout the site.
Currently our two biggest sponsors are:
Corvette America and Bair's Corvettes
Both offer a discount (depending on the item ordered) if you mention C3VR when you call to place your order.

You can help spread the word about C3VR to your friends, neighbors, co-workers and local Corvette Club members. Word-of-mouth is some of the best advertising C3VR can get! Make sure to tell anyone you know with a C3 about us so that they can too enjoy the benefits of C3VR. If you are a Gold Member (or become one) and you get just 2 people to join C3VR and they too become Gold Members, you will get a year of Gold Membership for free. If you get 6 people to join C3VR and they too become Gold Members, you will get a Lifetime membership for free!!

I would like to give special thanks to the current Gold & Lifetime members for your continued support.
Also, a note that out of the over 1800 registered members, just over 700 of them visited the site this month. Thanks to those of you that visit the site often and contribute to the forums. Without your contributions, the site really would not be of any use or any fun!
Finally, I would like to thank the moderators of C3VR. I really could not do this without them!

I believe that C3VR has become a great C3 Community and I look forward to continuing it forever, but it is really hard without your help. Please do what you can to help support C3 Vette Registry.

Thank you very much!

When shopping for parts, which of the above mentioned options brings the site the most revenue?

Well, it's hard to say, but if you were to force me to answer, I'd say Corvette America and Bairs, but it's only good if they know you are from C3VR.

They are by far the biggest supporters of C3VR. The other shopping methods are just nickels and dimes of revenue here and there, but they can add up if many people use those resources.

Thanks for asking.
