Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79

I will not be able to attend Mid America FunFest 2006.

Who is planning to attend and would like to represnt C3VR on my behalf, should we be invited back to have a membership tent?

Please let me know ASAP.

Thanks!

Tenatively, I will stick my neck out... This may require additional time off work. I am stating my answer as such based on my wife's abillity to be off work. This has been the only event that my wife and I have both attended religiously as such in years gone by. If she and I are going to do this we will have to know this soon. Otherwise she may not have the abilty to schedule time off. I also have rooms rented in advance for this event. (Not necessarily these dates!) (Keep in mind I am writing this without her consent!) (Hey Adam can I use our 27' camper as the booth? If so I think my wife will love it!)

I'm tentatively planning on attending Fun Fest also. If I go, I'll surely help "man a table/tent" for C3VR. We're currently starting lay out next year's schedule. I'll know better shortly after the first of the year.

IF I go I would be happy to help out for a while on Saturday like I did this past year. I'm not sure at this point if I'm going, kinda have a bad taste in my mouth about last year. Mostly I'm very frustrated with the way the local hotels are booked solid a year in advance, and they are raping us.

Anyone that's planning on going, avoid the ECONOLODGE at all possible costs! You would be better off with a sleeping bag and one of the little green houses on the grounds!!!

If I can go this year, I'll help out as well.
Who do I call to reserve a space for my little green house? The maid service is terrible, but you can't beat the convienent location.

All you need to do is show up and grab anyone that's not in use. Squatter's rights apply here? ...

The Official dates for Funfest is Sept. 15-17. Can I arrive on Thursday, 9/14 and squat near the C3VR booth?
That would be cool.

I will commit to working during a few days / hours during this weeekend. Is there an interest in C3VR parking for this event? My local vette buddies registrated for vette parking for "the locals" during this event and it was great. We were able to come and go at our leasure during the events including the Beach Boys all in all it was great!
